Small vanity plate inside fron cover, Original owners name written on frontpiece along with date of 1877. The volume is very good, solid binding, gilt pages all around, Gilt on cover mostly remains with some shelf wear. Corners bumped and 2 pages have toned streak due to a 3" by 1/8" piece of newsprint placed as bookmark. A very nice copy, all in all.
